CAD Designer  (Entry Level)

Qualifications: 

• Knowledge of the English language, at least at a communicative level

• Education - secondary / technical or higher / technical 

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs

• Ability to read diagrams and freehand sketches 

• Commitment and responsibility for the entrusted tasks

• Self-motivated, driven, reliable and good communication skills

• Ability to work with teams, and also independently

We appreciate experience in a similar position, but is not required. If you want to develop, you draw freely in AutoCAD and you know English, we will teach you the other necessary skills. 

Essential Job Functions: 

• Work with AutoCAD and construction drawing preparation

• Receive redlines from team members, and make necessary adjustments.

• Responsible for making changes on site plans/ construction drawings as required. 

• Identify opportunities to improve quality and services, and participate in their implementation.

CAD Designer I & II

Qualifications: 

• Experience working in AutoCAD 2D (Amount of years and experience will determine if you qualify for Designer I or Designer II)

• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D (necessary condition) 

• Knowledge of the paper space/ model space relationship

• Knowledge and free use of commands

• Knowledge of the rules of dimensioning

• Knowledge of the English language, at least at a communicative level

• Education - secondary / technical or higher / technical 

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs

• Ability to read diagrams and freehand sketches

• Ability to pass an AutoCAD test

Structural EIT

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field

• Course exposure to structural analysis and the design of structural materials (e.g., steel, concrete)

• Experience using MS Excel and other general-purpose software for engineering calculations

• Experience using AutoCAD drafting software

• Understanding of spatial relationships to resolve potential interference issues

• Understanding of structural load paths

• Knowledge of bolted and welded connection design

• Detail oriented and self- motivated

• Good written and oral communication skills

Essential Job Functions:

• Learn to perform detailed structural analysis of original, modified, and proposed telecommunication infrastructure installations

• Learn to perform detailed structural analysis original tower mounts and create modifications for failing mounts

• Review insufficient analyses in order to reduce modification costs

• Learn to determine the cause of overstresses in the tower members and plan for practical cost-effective reinforcement/modification systems

• Specify reinforcement systems and components to address tower overstresses and customer requirements and produce well documented calculations

• Produce tower and foundation reinforcement/modification conceptual sketches for the Structural Detailer to develop into design, fabrication, and erection drawings (CAD)

• Review and approve Auto CAD drawings for tower and foundation reinforcement/modifications designs

• Use computer-assisted engineering design software and equipment to prepare engineering design documents

• Learn and utilize RISA Tower software for structural modeling and analysis.

• Learn how to detail and design tower/reinforcement erection, mount reinforcement/erection based on construction practices

• Review of steel shop fabrication processes and/or knowledge of fabrication shop tools and capabilities

Engineer who produces structural analyses and/or reinforcement designs for telecommunication structures. This is an entry level job.
